Resource and Training Lead

Amity has been with White Ribbon Alliance UK since January 2021. Amity, formerly a midwife, now provides birth coaching and doula services. She is published author, and freelance journalist. Using her midwifery knowledge, writing skills and experience within the SRHR activism space, Amity creates resources and helps develop programmes of work for WRA that work towards our goal of respectful care for all. 

Amity lives in the Brighton area with her husband and two teenage children. Originally from the United States, she has lived in the UK for 20 years and considers herself a British/American hybrid. In her spare time, Amity enjoys reading, cooking, podcasts, walks in the woods, and outdoor swimming. She is an intersectional feminist and brings her fierce passion for women, trans, and non-binary people's rights into all that she does.
