Research and Projects Intern

Ruqia, a recent Global Health Masters graduate from the University of Southampton, brings her passion for promoting health and well-being to the White Ribbon Alliance UK team as an Intern. Her thesis, exploring the intricate connection between health literacy and maternal health outcomes in Nigeria and Malawi, showcases her dedication to understanding and addressing global health challenges. Motivated by a commitment to those affected by systemic oppression, Ruqia is particularly impassioned about advocating for refugees and asylum seekers, as well as addressing racial disparities to ensure equitable health outcomes for all.
